New Beginnings: Move-In 216 for a Brave Mom and Her Growing Family

Last Tuesday, our H2H team partnered with South Suburban Women's Housing to give a young expectant mom and her two children a fresh start after struggling with stable housing. Threy were assisted by volunteers from BCBS and Lifehouse Group. It was truly a community partnership. This mom now has a beautiful apartment to call home with all the necessary items to make it functional. Thank you to leads Gina Sineni and Kristen Pisani along with volunteers Karren Harrison and Kathy Robbins. Special shout out to Linda Farley for the personalized welcome baskets and Tracy Canfield for the handmade themed pillow cases. Both are always a hit. Big hugs to the team @Zelda's Kitchen Witches for supplying the kitchenware. Thanks also to @calico for providing fabric used to make throw pillows.
