A Little Apartment Full of Big Love
Move-in 221
Design Leads: Kathy Robbins & Roxanne Lostroscio
Driver: Janelle Towne
It is always so touching to know how much our little mission means to others. Today, our team certainly saw that for themselves as our Kenneth Young Center client passed hugs all around upon seeing his new setup. Kathy Robbins and Roxanne Lostroscio outdid themselves on this move. They had a small space to enhance for this dad and his 2 yr old. but made it come to life with the help of volunteers, Julie Savaria, Karen Harrison, Stephanie Flock, Owen Powell, Sam Lostroscio, Sharon Sullivan, Tim Sullivan, and first timers Susan Godfrey Mantel and Don Pearson. Thanks also to Kenneth Young Center case manager, Erica Torres, for pitching in as well. We had great help from our driver, Janelle Towne, and extra help from Jason and Mike from Jason Huth Movers. A special shout out to Kelly Keeling for her kitchen sponsorship donation from the 2024 Gala. Our clients also get to enjoy handmade pillow cases from Tracy Canfield and generous welcome baskets from Linda Farley. Kudos to Allyson Voss for using her talents in creating a “color me” Bluey t-shirt for the little guy. This was truly a community effort. Dad and son can now move on from shelter living to a new life. As always, thank you to all who support H2H through donations, volunteering, sponsorships, or even shopping at East Vintage Market. Every little bit helps!
