Move-in 225

Leads: Kathy Robbins & Ana Wilson

Driver: Mike Robbins

Every move is different for our teams. Team 225 led by Kathy and Ana were charged with filling a two bedroom apartment for a Bridge Community client and her two children. For this move, they needed to find a viable solution to the bedroom situation. Mom and the three year old son needed to be accommodated in one bedroom and the daughter in another. Luckily, Chris and JoEllyn Posta from The Palis Children's Farm lent an assist in securing a toddler bed that fit perfectly in with mom’s adult bed. Sometimes, we get fortunate and have the “just right” items drop in our lap. Our team, Colleen Stefani, Roxanne Lostroscio, Don Herweck, Erin Vail, Julie Saravia, Karren Harrison, Lisa Geneser, Nicole Herweck, Sophie Harrison, and Yvonne Miranda, worked their magic in ensuring mom had a beautiful new space to call home. We welcomed Colleen and Yvonne to their first move-in on this one! Mom has already reached out and shared how much they appreciated the design and all the extra touches. Thanks to Zelda’s Kitchen Witches for their generous kitchen donations. Special shout out to our gift fairy, Linda Farley, for surprising the family with special baskets. Check out the pictures to see all these extras, including hand crafted pillowcases courtesy of Tracy Canfield. They always add a nice touch to the kids’ rooms. We are also grateful to Ed Mattingly ,Mattingly Paint, for the $500 bedroom sponsorship he made at the 2024 Gala. It came in handy as we needed some essentials for this move. As always, thank you to all supporters, donors, volunteers, and shoppers! Stop by our store , East Vintage Market, to check out the “new to you” autumn decor. We might have just what you are looking for.

***Behind the scenes paint work completed by Tom Davis and Janelle Powell. Truck loading assist from Jami Douglas and James Kirivich.
